[Recolle is a strange place, even at the best of times. He's pretty sure he ran into some mistletoe bats yesterday and they wouldn't leave him be until he kissed somebody.

Shouto gives a shake of his head and offers the tin over to Aizawa to look at.]
They're essential oils that cats are supposed to like. I can't keep one at home, so I was wondering if your cat would like them.
[Man, tell him about it. The mistlebats are by far the worst thing to happen this month........which is peanuts compared to how things have been in the last couple months, actually, but still. Still.
Aizawa takes the offered tin slowly, examining it between his hands and then looking up in surprise as Shouto goes on to explain.]
Essential oils, really? ...I've never tried any of them myself. But if it's for cats specifically I can imagine there's an appeal for them somehow... [Another small bemused pause, as Aizawa realizes Shouto is essentially just--more or less gifting this to him? Apparently? Talk about out of the blue...but--] ...And my cat's the first one you thought of, huh? Well. Thank you.
[Aizawa frowns slightly at Shouto for a couple of moments, after this...before eventually stepping back slightly, holding the door a bit wider open. This is possibly being pretty presumptuous, actually, but he's getting a hunch here. So...]
[He had to kiss so many people who weren't actually his boyfriend. It's just unfortunate. Maybe he should start carrying Hershey's kisses for this express purpose.
He has no cat and this seemed like a good way to talk to Aizawa. Not that he's against being incredibly straightforward, but the gift makes it easier.]

Shouto's initial reply is so utterly blunt and simple that it actually earns a short laugh from Aizawa--startling himself, really--and he's turning around to start back inside as soon as it comes, like this would better conceal that or something.
